Vandals cause $3,000 in damage at NH cemetery

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in Manchester, N.H., say 15 monuments were knocked over at a cemetery, causing $3,000 in damage.

Most of the damage was to headstones at the Valley Street Cemetery, which are made of marble or granite.

The damage was discovered at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Police are asking anyone with information on what happened to contact them.
