(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A member of the IT department at UMass Medical School in Worcester reportedly admitted to police on Tuesday that he secretly used a camera to spy on his female tenant in the bathroom of the Upton home they share.
Shelli Stoddard, 41, called police around 6:30 a.m. on Monday after she noticed a small camera inside a vent in her bathroom.
Stoddard noticed that the camera was moving and pulled on the cord ripping it apart. She heard someone in the basement running away
Stoddard told FOX 25's Heather Hegedus that she is concerned Hill may have hid other cameras in the house. She and her 17-year-old daughter feel extremely violated.
Hill admitted to police that he had used the camera Monday morning to spy on Stoddard.
Hill owns the Upton duplex and rents one of the sides to Stoddard. She lives there with her daughter and another female roommate. Hill lives on the other side.
Stoddard told FOX 25 that she filed a harassment order with police to try to keep Hill from being able to return to home if he makes bail on Monday night.
Hill's bail was set at $5,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
