BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A man who failed to register as a sex offender was arrested on Monday after he was reportedly caught taking pictures of children on an MBTA train.
Transit Police say a witness approached them at Forest Hills station just before 7 a.m. to report that a man was taking pictures of "kids on the train." The witness pointed out the suspect, who was later identified as Vincent Lucas, 49, of Lowell.
Officers began speaking with Lucas, who claimed he was "playing around with" his new phone. During an investigation, Transit Police learned that Lucas had failed to register as a sex offender. He was arrested and taken to Transit Police headquarters.
