A United flight from Boston headed to Houston was diverted to Charlotte due to a medical emergency on board, FOX25 has learned.
A passenger on the flight told FOX25 the aircraft experienced severe turbulence and was forced to find a lower cruising altitude. Shortly after, flight attendants asked for any licensed medical professionals on board.
United flight 676 was scheduled to land in at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport shortly after 1 p.m.
