Two women injured in collision with ambulance

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two women were evaluated at hospitals in Boston on Sunday morning after a car accident involving an ambulance.

Boston EMS tells FOX 25 that the women were the only ones in the car when they hit an ambulance on its driver's side at the intersection of Parker and Ruggles Streets in Roxbury at about 8:30 a.m.

Both women were taken to Boston area hospitals with minor injuries.

There were three people, a field training officer and two recruits, in the ambulance at the time of the accident. They were taken to Boston Medical Center to be evaluated, but they reportedly did not sustain any injuries.

Details surrounding the accident were not released on Sunday morning.
