BARNSTABLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two women are facing drug and firearms charges after police reportedly found several firearms and over a pound of marijuana inside a Marstons Mills home.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Wakeby Road at about 3 p.m. Wednesday after a month-long probe into the alleged distribution of marijuana from out of the home. During the search, investigators seized an estimated one and a half pounds of marijuana, a digital scale, two pistols, a rifle, and a revolver.
Police claim the marijuana, which carried an estimated street value of $5,000, was found both inside and outside of the home. They add that one of the bathrooms had been converted into a "grow room."
Tamlyn Mansfield, 59, and Karen Massoni, 62, face charges that include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, cultivation of marijuana, and four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
