Two teens arrested for reportedly robbing pizza delivery man

WORCESTER Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com)—A 34-year-old pizza delivery man was robbed late Monday night while delivering pizza to a Dewey Street home, according to police.

The victim told police he had gone to a home on Dewey Street to deliver a pizza and soda. After ringing the bell, two men approached him, one of them was carrying a hand gun and the other suspect had a bolt cutter.

The suspects demanded cash, the pizza and the soda, police said.

A witness gave police a description of the suspects. After broadcasting the information, officers found two men riding a scooter at a high rate of speed near the area of the robbery. The officers stopped the men and found a pair of bolt cutters, a pellet gun and the alleged stolen food.

The victim identified the suspects as the men who committed the robbery.

Both were charged with armed robbery and taken to police headquarters. They were later released into the custody of the Key Program.
