LYNN, Mass. — Two people will be in court Thursday morning after a break-in turned into a chase and a shooting in Lynn Wednesday morning.
Police said two suspects - Jimmy Lore and Ramon Martinez - kicked in the door of a home on Mass. Ave - not realizing someone was home.
The person inside called his roommate who had just left for work. His roommate arrived back home, and ended up chasing one of the suspects - who fired a gun at him as he ran away.
The suspect made it to Birch St. as police were arriving on scene - he quickly surrendered.
Police also released K9 units and an airwing unit to search for the second suspect. A K9 was able to quickly track him down, hiding on Fisk Lane.

Lynn Police said they believe Lore and Martinez were the only ones involved in the incident, and it wasn't a random crime.
Police also said children were home at the time. The entire incident happened within an hour - and schools were in lockdown for a short time.
Lore and Martinez will appear before a judge Thursday morning.
