BRIGHTON, Mass. — Two pedestrians have been seriously injured after a hit and run in Brighton on Sunday evening.
Three people were crossing the street when a van struck two of them, both of them women.

The crash happened between Washington street and Dickinson road. Person on the scene says the suspect fled by foot and got on a T bus and left the area.
Another witness tells Boston 25 News reporter Elysia Rodriguez that the driver of the van had a red light.
The vehicle was found at least half a mile away and severely damaged
Both victims were transported to nearby hospitals and despite their serious injuries, are expected to survive.
