Two men charged with selling 'Molly' to undercover officer

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two men are charged with drug offenses after they allegedly sold "Molly" to an undercover Boston police officer.

Daniel Milisi, 29, of South Boston, and Joseph Doolin, 36, of Quincy, are both charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the state's drug laws.

Milisi was allegedly in possession of the MDMA at the time of his arrest, while Doolin allegedly drove him to carry out the pre-arranged drug deal. Doolin is additionally charged with a second count of possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute for illicit prescription drugs which officers found on him.

A judge set Milisi's bail at $2,500 and ordered him to remain drug-free, abide by a 7 p.m. curfew, and stay away from Doolin.

Doolin's bail was set at $540 and he was also ordered to remain drug-free and stay away from Milisi.

Authorities said officers within Boston's Drug Control Unit arranged to meet Milisi inside the women's bathroom at Whiskey Priest in the Seaport District Friday night. Milisi allegedly told the officer he would arrive at 7:15 p.m. with 1.5 grams of "Molly" for $150. Officers watched the area as Milisi arrived in a Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Doolin.

Uniformed officers then approached Milisi and prevented him from placing a plastic baggie in his mouth. The bag was confiscated and found to contain off-white, crystalline powder. He was placed under arrest.

Officers then approached Doolin who said he was simply giving Milisi a ride. When asked if he had any drugs or weapons, he allegedly said no. However, officers found five whole and two partial tablets of Suboxone and one tablet of Percocet in a plastic baggie in his pocket.

Milisi and Doolin will return to court Oct. 23.
