Tsarnaev's friend joins change of venue motion

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Another friend of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has requested a change of venue for his trial on obstruction of justice charges.

Dias Kadyrbayev has joined a motion for change of venue previously filed by Azamat Tazhayakov and Robel Phillipos.

In previously filed documents, Tazhayakov's lawyers said they do not believe that their client can "obtain a fair and impartial trial" in the Commonwealth.

The friends are accused of removing a laptop and a backpack that contained empty fireworks from Tsarnaev's dorm room at UMass Dartmouth in the days following the Boston Marathon bombings.

Tazhayakov is also facing obstruction of justice charges. Phillipos is accused of lying to investigators.
