NEW YORK (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Sister of marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was charged with aggravated harassment Wednesday after allegedly threatening the mother of her boyfriend's kids.
Ailiana Tsarnaeva, who lives in New Jersey, allegedly called the other woman to threaten her and mentioned the bombings that plagued the Boston Marathon last year.
"Leave us alone. I know people who can put a bomb on you," Tsarnaeva, 23, allegedly said.
The 23-year-old's boyfriend, George Briones, is involved in a custody battle with the mother of his children. The mother reported the threat from Tsarnaeva, who turned herself in and is being charged with aggravated harassment, police said.
Tsarnaeva's brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar, were allegedly behind the marathon bombings in 2013 that killed three and injured almost 300.
Tamerlan's widow, Katherine Russell, is reportedly living with Ailiana and her sister Bella Tsarnaeva. Russell was photographed Saturday holding a baby. On Sunday, Ailiana told the New York Post that Russell had recently remarried and that the baby is hers.
Russell has a daughter from her marriage to Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
