Truck plows through wall at Brockton restaurant

BROCKTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A truck crashed through a wall at a Papa Ginos restaurant in Brockton Saturday.

The incident happened at the Papa Ginos location at 675 Crescent Street.

Police told FOX 25 that the driver of the truck hit a car in front of him and lost control of his vehicle after hitting the gas instead of the brakes. The truck crossed over the center lane of traffic and into the restaurant. Photos from the scene showed about half of the truck was inside the building.

One person inside the restaurant was taken to Brockton Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The driver of the truck was cited for "failure to keep in marked lanes."

A building inspector said there was no structural damage to the building.
