BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- An overheight truck caused delays on Storrow Drive Monday afternoon.
Mass. State Police asked commuters to seek alternate routes at about 12:30 p.m. after the truck became lodged under the Charles Circle overpass.
SKYFOX was over the scene just after noon. It appeared the box truck's roof had been ripped off upon impact with the bridge.
The westbound on-ramp from Charles Circle was closed pending a bridge inspection. It was reopened by 1:15 p.m. A towing company was working to pull the truck from beneath the overpass at about 12:45 p.m. All lanes of Storrow Drive were reopened to traffic by 1:40 p.m.
