The ramp from Route 218 to the Massachusetts Turnpike was shut down early Monday morning after a tractor-trailer rolled over.
The ramp carries traffic from Route 128 northbound lanes onto the Mass. Pike heading in both directions.
One lane was opened, allowing traffic to get by around 8:30 a.m. after the truck, which was carrying 43,000 pounds of beef flipped onto its side into from the ramp heading in the opposite direction.
A health inspector and a refrigerated truck were called in to attempt to recover the cargo.

Now that the sun has come up, it appears this truck that rolled over is a tractor trailer. The good news is it doesn’t look like anything major spilled onto the road, should make for an easy clean up. @boston25 pic.twitter.com/Cf7nBLCQ7t

A state police spokesperson said the driver only sustained minor injuries. It was not immediately clear if the driver would be cited for the crash.
The spokesperson said the though the truck was righted before 7 a.m., it was still unsafe to drive and would have to be loaded onto a truck to be moved.
