Prosecutors said he shot 17-year-old Luis Rodriguez in the head three years ago.

Police said Harrison was running a drug operation and had several students selling for him.

Investigators said they believe Harrison targeted Rodriguez because he felt cheated on a deal.

On Friday Rodriguez recalled waving down a passing car for help after he was shot.

“My first instinct was if I don’t jump in the middle of the street and, like, I’m going to die anyway, so I was like, if I don’t jump in front of the car and wave him down and I bleed out ... I had to do it. So I had no choice to jump in front of that car,’” Rodriguez said.

Harrison was a dean at English High School in Boston at the time of the alleged incident.

If convicted he could serve decades in prison.
