Fred Meyer recalls children's clothing for choking, laceration hazards

Fred Meyer children's sweatshirts have been recalled.

Fred Meyer is recalling children's hooded sweatshirts and girls bomber jackets, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported.

The zipper pull can come off  the sweatshirts and jackets and could potentially choke or cut a child.

The Kids Korner clothing in the recall was sold in 18 different prints or solid colors in sizes from 9 months to child's size 7. "Kids Korner" is printed on the label at the back of the neck. A second label can be found on the inside seam with a manufacture date of 11/16 and style numbers ending in 8701P, 8701YD, 9019 or 9022P, according to the CPSC.

They were sold at Fred Meyer, Kroger, Smith’s and Fry’s Marketplace in February and March for $7 to $10.
