Transit police search for suspect accused of stealing from bus driver

LYNN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Transit police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of stealing from an MBTA bus operator.

The suspect reportedly stole the operator's personal belongings while traveling on a Route 429 bus in Lynn at about 5 p.m. on May 1.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Unit at 617-222-1050. Anonymous tips can be made by texting 873873 or by using the anonymous feature on the SeeSay app.
