Transit police respond to reports of person hit by commuter train in Gloucester

GLOUCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A commuter rail train was stopped in Gloucester Monday on reports of a person possibly being hit by the train.

Transit police say the incident was on the Newburyport to Rockport Line at the Gloucester stop.

At about 9:30 a.m., Transit police tweeted that personnel on scene said one person sustained a non-life threatening injury and that the station should be cleared just after 10 a.m.
