BELMONT, Mass. -- Trains on the Fitchburg Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail are being delayed due to fire department activity in Belmont.
The Belmont Fire Department told Boston 25 News there was a fire in the engine compartment of a train that was stopped at Belmont Center.
Fitchburg Line notice: Fitchburg Train 422 (4:05p inbound) will be bused between Belmont & North Station due to Fire Department activity.

Boston 25 News has learned that the train was evacuated and now injuries were reported.
Passengers are now being bussed to North Station, the train's destination.
The fire department said the flames have been extinguished.
