SANDWICH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Two people were taken to the hospital following a collision between a train and a car near the intersection of Spring Hill Road and Norse Pines Drive in Sandwich Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the train hit the car sending it into the woods in the area of Spring Hill Road and Norse Pines Drive at about 12:54 p.m.
Two of the occupants of the car were taken to Cape Cod Hospital.
No one on the train was injured. Those aboard the train were taken to their destinations via a responding bus.
