BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Mass. State Police shut down I-93 southbound during the Thursday morning commute due to a tractor trailer fire.
The fire broke out near exit 12 in Dorchester. It was extinguished by 6:45 a.m.
Boston fire officials said there were no injuries in the blaze.
Police also shutdown the HOV lane on the northbound side of the road, causing heavy traffic delays back to the Braintree split.
Two lanes on the southbound side of the road were reopened by 8 a.m. All lanes were reopened by 9 a.m.
