Tractor trailer crash on Mass. Pike could take hours to clear

WARREN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Mass. State Police are investigating a tractor trailer crash on the Mass. Pike in Warren.

Officials closed one of the two lanes on the eastbound side of the Mass. Pike after the Tuesday morning crash. They say the trailer, which was pinned against a rock ledge, was leaking fuel.

A FOX 25 viewer sent in a photo of the crash, which they say occurred just before 3:30 a.m. One tractor trailer can be seen pinned against the rock ledge by another tractor trailer.

Commuters were told to consider alternate routes as significant delays were expected on that stretch of road.

State Police expected cleanup take up to six hours to complete.
