TOPSFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Topsfield resident walked away with some big winnings in Topsfield Fair's annual New England Giant Pumpkin Contest.
Woody Lancaster won the competition with a pumpkin that weighed in at a whopping 1,746.5 pounds. He was awarded a $5,500 check.
In 2012, Ron Wallace, of Greene, R.I., not only won the contest, he also set a world record with his 2,009-pound entry.
