Tom Brady enjoying another strong season at midpoint

FOXBOROUGH (AP) - The numbers say Tom Brady is having another outstanding season.

The Patriots quarterback is sixth in passer rating in the NFL, tied for fifth in touchdown passes, third in yards and first in fewest interceptions per attempt. He's also completed more than 60 percent of his passes in each of the first eight games for the first time.

But New England is just 5-3 and he's a key contributor to some of those losses.

Now, the 13-year veteran is coming off his best game of the season with four touchdown passes in a 45-7 win over the St. Louis Rams. After their bye week, the Patriots face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
