• Toddler falls from third floor of Worcester home

WORCESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) -- A toddler was taken to the hospital on Friday morning after falling from the third floor of a home in Worcester.

Worcester police were called to the triple-decker home on Vinson Street at about 10 a.m.

Emergency crews said the child was conscious when they arrived. She was taken to UMass Medical center to be treated for her injuries. She was expected to be OK.

Police said the window the child fell from was not locked and did not have a screen. The child's mother was in the shower at the time of the incident.
