Tobin Bridge in Boston closed following truck fire

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The southbound side of the Tobin Bridge in Boston was closed for a period of time Tuesday morning after a truck caught fire.

Mass. State Police along with fire crews responded to the bridge at about 9 a.m. for reports of a truck fully engulfed in flames. The incident occurred adjacent to the top of the Everett Street on-ramp.

Once the fire had been extinguished, one lane on the southbound side was reopened.

The second lane was re-opened once debris and the truck had been removed from the roadway.
