TMZ: Former Red Sox great Carlton Fisk arrested for DUI

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Former Boston Red Sox catcher Carlton Fisk was reportedly arrested for DUI on Monday night after police found the MLB Hall of Famer passed out in the middle of a corn field in Illinois.

The New Lenox Police Dept. received a call around 7:20 p.m. reporting that a car was in the middle of a corn field, reports TMZ.

Upon arrival, police found Fisk asleep behind the wheel and an open bottle of vodka in the vehicle. He was placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

Fisk refused a blood alcohol test at the hospital where he was taken as a precaution.
