Three-legged pit bull gets new permanent home

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) An injured pit bull that made local headlines after being given up by her owners has found a permanent home.

Nina's owners were forced to give her up to the MSPCA in late November after she was hit by a car. One of Nina's hind legs had to be amputated as a result of her injuries.

MyFoxBoston.com covered the MSPCA's search for a new owner for Nina on Nov. 20. We are happy to report that Nina was adopted this past weekend by an Attleboro couple. Nina will live with another rescue dog adopted by the family named Bruin.
