Texting teen collides with tanker truck, police say

WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Worcester say an 18-year-old was texting on his cell phone when he crashed into a tractor trailer.

The teen, identified as 18-year-old Raymond Gouley, crashed head-on into a tanker truck carrying 1,300 gallons of gasoline earlier in March. The crash happened on West Boylston Street.

Gouley sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was listed in stable condition at a hospital.

Police said he will face several motor vehicle charges.
