Tewksbury woman arrested for alleged connection to child rape case

TEWKSBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 29-year-old Tewksbury woman was arrested Thursday following the August arrest of a man accused of child rape.

Lauren Miele is charged with indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and for creating the risk of serious bodily injury or sexual abuse of a child.

Her arrest stems from the Aug. 14 arrest of 29-year-old Scott Brzezowski, also of Tewksbury. Brzezowski is charged with four counts of rape of a child, four counts of aggravated rape, four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, and disseminating obscene matter to a child.

Miele was expected to be arraigned Friday in Lowell District Court. Tewksbury police did not disclose details of the case or her relation to Brzezowski.
