Tewksbury police arrest woman in connection with multiple package thefts

TEWKSBURY, Mass. — Tewksbury police have arrested a woman in connection with a string of package thefts.

Police say packages were taken off of doorsteps at four homes on Monday. The thefts occurred at two homes on North Street and two homes on Main Street.

Surveillance video at one home captured a woman taking packages off of the front porch. Police say that woman was Jacquelyn Suazo.

Children's books, a home security system and a family portrait are some of the items that were stolen. Police say the family portrait was returned to the owner after the suspect appeared to leave it behind, along with several empty boxes on nearby Brentwood Road.

Suazo is due back in court in January.
