ABINGTON, Mass. — Teenagers looking to buy eggs or shaving cream this weekend in Abington can be expected to be carded.

According to the Brockton Enterprise, the Abington Police Department has asked stores in the town to not sell typical Halloween prank items to those under the age of 18. The temporary ban will last Oct, 28 through Nov. 1.

Teenagers can expect to be I.D.'d for the following items:

  • Toilet Paper
  • Soap
  • Shaving Cream
  • Eggs
  • Spray paint

The ban is voluntary and has been around for more than a decade. According to the Brockton Enterprise, there was an especially messy Halloween prank about 12 years ago that led to the ban.
