Teenager shot outside South End party

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One person was shot and has suffered life-threatening injuries after a party turned violent early Sunday morning.

At around 1:50 a.m. Sunday, police received a call for a person shot around the area of 5 Castle Court in the South End. Officers responding a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound outside a party there.

The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center with  life-threatening injuries. As of late Sunday morning, there was no update on the victim's condition.

Boston Police said that officers have interviewed dozens of  witnesses and are actively investigating the shooting.
