Teen arrested in connection with NH playground fire

MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a playground fire in Manchester Wednesday night.

Terahja Williams, of Manchester, was taken into custody following a fire that occurred at Central Little League located at 380 Lincoln St. at about 7:15 p.m.

Fire officials said the fire destroyed a plastic pipe and its two connecting slides. The damage was estimated at approximately $3,000 to $4,000.

The cause of the fire was deemed arson.

Following an investigating, authorities concluded Williams was responsible for the fire. He was found at Adventure Park on Union Street and taken into custody without incident.
