Swimmer's body recovered from Houghton's Pond

MILTON, Mass. (AP) — Officials have recovered the body of the 32-year-old man who apparently drowned in a popular swimming area in Milton.

The man has been identified as Jesus Mancia-Sola, of East Boston. His body was pulled from Houghton's Pond Monday night after a search by divers.

Police were called after witnesses saw Mancia-Sola struggling in the water. He had apparently gone outside the roped-in swimming area of the pond.

The Norfolk District Attorney's office said the death appeared accidental and that an autopsy would be performed.
