Suspect calls teller 'stupid' for not being able to read robbery note

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – An attempted robbery of a Boston bank failed when the suspect handed the teller an illegible note, called her "stupid," and then left.

Police told the South End Patch that the suspect reportedly entered the Mount Washington Bank located at 1134 Washington St. around 11 a.m. on Sunday.

The suspect reportedly handed a note to the teller that read, "Give me the money or I'll shoot you."

However, police said the teller could only read the word "shoot."

To clarify his note, the suspect reportedly said, "Give me the money or I'll shoot you."

According to the Patch, the teller told police she was confused at first and asked the suspect to repeat what he had said, to which the suspect said, "You are stupid." He then took his note and left the bank.

An investigation into the attempted bank robbery is ongoing.
