• Suspect arrested for fleeing scene of head-on crash


    ROCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 60-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday for fleeing the scene of a head-on crash that injured a 50-year-old Somersworth man.

    Beverly Shannon is facing a charge of conduct after an accident for the crash that occurred at Columbus Avenue and Summer Street on Feb. 2, reports the New Hampshire Union Leader.

    Shannon reportedly collided head-on with 50-year-old Robert Bregy. Bregy was transported to an area hospital; however, Shannon reportedly fled the scene.

    As a result of the crash, both cars had serious front end damage.

    According to the newspaper, police received an anonymous tip from a person who identified Shannon as the driver.
