Surveillance video may show missing Brown student

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Surveillance video captured near Brown University may show a student who has been missing since March 16.

Members of Sunil Tripathi's family sent images from the video to Fox 25 News. They said the video was captured about 19 minutes after the 22-year-old's last recorded computer activity.

The family says the video was recorded on Brook Street and the person in it matches Tripathi's description. They said they hope it can help them pinpoint the time Tripathi left and the route he may have taken.

Tripathi is six feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat with a Philadelphia Eagles logo, thin black-rimmed glasses, a black ski jacket and jeans.

Anyone who may have seen Tripathi between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on March 16 is asked to call police at 401-641-8691.
