Sunshine Saturday, showers possible Sunday

From FOX 25 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz

Clouds and rain lingered into the night Friday, though the heaviest was in the morning as expected. It all pulls out of here overnight, leaving us with a pleasantly warm Saturday with sunshine and no showers.

Enjoy it, because it is the best we'll get this weekend. A system to our west may bring showers early Sunday with a warm front coming by. The middle part of the day will be dry, but any sun could fire up a few thunderstorms in the afternoon with more humid air moving in. The cold front part of the system will cross the area Monday with the risk of showers and thunderstorms. That front will bring more comfortable air once again for Tuesday and Wednesday. More rain could arrive Thursday into Friday. The pattern seems set like this.

So, not a washed out weekend. Saturday the best day. Middle of next week looks very nice as well.

Have a great weekend.
