DUXBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A beach in Duxbury was cleared Thursday after a possible shark sighting was reported. However, officials confirmed that it was not a shark, but a sunfish.
The Duxbury Harbormaster's office announced the reported sighting before 5 p.m. Beach-goers were asked to get out of the water as a precaution.
Just before 6 p.m., officials confirmed it was a sunfish that was spotted, not a shark.
