Study: Prescription drugs can last a lot longer than what's on the bottle

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Common sense tells us to toss anything that has gone past its expiration date. But a new study says prescription drugs can last a whole lot longer than what's on the bottle.

In fact, the study shows the drugs retain their potency for as long as 40 years after expiration date. FOX Medical Team's Dr. Mike Cirigliano has more on this surprising find.
