Students accused of threatening to ‘shoot up' Rockland High due in court

ROCKLAND, Mass. — The two teenagers accused of threatening to “shoot up” Rockland High School will be arraigned in court Tuesday.

The 14- and 15-year-old students were arrested Friday after police said they used their cell phone to call a local TV station threatening to hurt themselves and shoot up the school.

Students at the high school were ordered to shelter in place until police tracked the students down.

Both are due in Hingham District Court on charges of making terrorist threats and disruption of a school assembly.
