Student taken to hospital after threatening staff member with knife

BOLTON, Mass. — A Nashoba Regional High School student was taken to the hospital after threatening a staff member with a steak knife, police say.

The Bolton Police Department posted about the incident on their Facebook page, saying officers responded to the situation around noon on Thursday.

Police and staff members stopped the incident from escalating, taking the knife away from the student before anyone was harmed.

The student was taken to the hospital after the situation calmed down, and police are investigating to see if the student will be charged.
