(MyFoxBoston.com) – Some streets in Scituate were flooded on Saturday after the National Guard urged residents in coastal areas to evacuate prior to the high tide.
Residents were asked to evacuate before high tide occurred at 10 a.m. on Saturday; however, the evacuations were not mandatory.
The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), expected Hull through the Sandwich area to be impacted the most by the high tide.
Massachusetts State Police assisted the National Guard with evacuations.
