Stoughton police look for three suspects in assault, home invasion

STOUGHTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Stoughton police are looking for three suspects in a reported assault and home invasion on Bennett Drive.

Police were called to the apartments at 45 Bennett Drive just after 11 p.m. Friday.

The victim said they were robbed and beaten by three men outside an apartment. The men then forced the victim's brother into their apartment and ransacked it.

Investigators arrived to the scene as one suspect was fleeing. They used K-9 teams to chase the suspect, but they were able to escape.

One suspect is described as a short, heavy set white man with a bald or shaved head in his 30s. He spoke broken Spanish. Another suspect is described as a white man who was about 6' tall, with brown hair and a mustache. The third suspect is described as a black man who is about 5'8" tall with a stocky build.

The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.

Police do not believe the attack was random. They assure the public that there is no cause for further alarm.

An investigation is ongoing.
