Stoughton mulls changes to how alcohol is served following baby shower melee

STOUGHTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The town of Stoughton is looking to make changes to how alcohol is served in their community.

On Jan. 12, officers from Stoughton, surrounding areas and the state police, were called to a Saturday night baby shower at Club Luis that turned into a brawl. It wasn't your average baby shower. There were hundreds of people there and it started at 8 p.m.

The Brockton Enterprise is reporting that town selectmen want to require all alcohol servers to undergo in-person training, then apply and pay a fee for an alcohol server photo ID.

Three men and a 14-year-old were arrested following the baby shower brawl.
