Stonehill College reports third rape since October


EASTON, Mass. ( – A female student at Stonehill College reported that she was raped in a dormitory in December. This is the second report of rape at the college in the last two months, and the third since the beginning of the school year.

The woman reported Monday that she was raped by a fellow student on Dec. 7, which was just two weeks after another rape was reported on Nov. 23. Easton police released composite sketches of the two suspects, according to Wicked Local.

A campus-wide alert was issued after the incident, which will be investigated by police and campus authorities, however the woman has decided not to seek criminal charges. 

Police are also investigating the rape that occurred in November. Two men allegedly raped a woman in a dormitory, Wicked Local reported.

Another rape happened at the school in October.
