CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Police in Cambridge are searching for the person who stole a backhoe and damaged several parked vehicles during the escape.
Police were called to the area of Richdale and Hubbard avenues around 4:30 a.m. to investigate damage caused by the stolen equipment.
At approx. 4:30a, patrol responded to the area of Richdale Ave & Hubbard Ave #CambMA looking for a stolen backhoe that struck and damaged multiple parked vehicles. Vehicles that were hit and damaged were removed from the area, and traffic issues were expected to be limited, according to police.

As of Tuesday morning, police were continuing to search for the driver.
