WEST BRIDGEWATER (MyFoxBoston.com) – A state police sergeant was taken to the hospital after his cruiser struck a utility pole in West Bridgewater.
A department spokesman said the trooper was on Route 28 when he struck the pole at about 6:50 a.m. Monday. He was taken by ambulance to Brockton Hospital for evaluation for what have been described as minor injuries. He was released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and no additional information was released.
